We Teach People to Build a Lifetime Love of Diving
Learning to dive should open the door to years of travel and weekends in the water - visiting places like reefs, seeing marine life, and diving in places like crystal clear springs. We keep our classes small, teach every course ourselves, and stay in your corner long after certification.
How Two Neighbors Built a Dive School
When Tony and his family moved home from Arizona and built next door, neither family knew they were expecting baby boys just one week apart. Conversations over the fence became weekly dinners, shared vacations, and eventually a gate between the two yards.
As the families grew closer, Tony and Daniel began diving together nearly every weekend, often bringing everyone along to swim, explore, and spend the day by the water. Before long, Daniel’s son and Tony’s wife were diving too. What started as a shared hobby became something their families built their lives around, and eventually something they wanted to share with others.
INSTRUCTOR • BIOLOGIST • EXPERIENCED EDUCATOR
Tony Daly-Crews
I am a husband, father, disabled Army veteran, biologist, and co-owner of Precision Depth Diving. I began diving in 2008 after growing up around Florida’s springs, but military service and a motorcycle accident pulled me away from the sport for more than a decade. When I returned as a husband and father, diving meant something different. It became a way to spend time outdoors, explore new places, build strong friendships, and share something meaningful with the people I care about.
Before becoming a scuba instructor, I founded The Rattlesnake Conservancy and developed safety training for people working around venomous reptiles. That experience taught me how to make intimidating, safety-sensitive subjects understandable without rushing people or making them feel overwhelmed. I bring that same approach to scuba instruction. Daniel and I teach every class ourselves, keep our groups small, and stay involved long after certification. Our goal is to help students build the skills to keep diving, travel more, and make the sport a lasting part of their lives.
One of the best parts of teaching is hearing from students years later, seeing the places they’ve explored, and watching diving become part of their lives.
Some of the most meaningful moments in diving happen when a parent and kid learn together. I want divers to leave with something they’ll keep doing together for years.
INSTRUCTOR • YOUTH COACH • EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST
Daniel Presley
I’m a husband, father of four, disabled Navy combat veteran, youth sports coach, and co-owner of Precision Depth Diving. One of my favorite parts of teaching is watching a student nail a skill that initially felt difficult. I’m good at noticing the small detail holding someone back; whether it is body position, timing, equipment placement, or simply the way something was explained, and helping them make the adjustment that brings it all together.
My background in Navy avionics taught me to stay calm, work methodically, and pay attention to details others may miss. Coaching youth baseball and softball reinforced that people learn differently, and repeating the same instruction is not always the answer. I bring that same approach to diving. Tony and I teach every class ourselves, keep our groups small, and remain available after certification.
