SDI Deep Diver Course
There is a lot more to explore once you move beyond the traditional 60-foot recreational diving range. Deeper wrecks, walls, marine life, and dive sites can all become accessible, but increased depth also brings additional considerations that divers need to understand and manage.
The SDI Deep Diver Course is designed to give certified divers the knowledge, planning skills, and in-water experience needed to safely conduct recreational dives beyond 60 feet, with training conducted to depths of up to 130 feet / 40 meters.
This isn't about simply seeing how deep you can go. The focus is on becoming a more capable and disciplined diver by learning how depth affects gas consumption, decompression exposure, equipment, physiology, decision-making, and emergency planning.
