Choose your schedule. Explore a new side of diving.
Service Description
Earn your SDI Night & Limited Visibility Diver certification in Jacksonville on a schedule that works for you. Complete the online learning at your own pace, then join us for instructor-led training focused on the planning, equipment, communication, navigation, and buddy procedures used when daylight or visibility is reduced. You’ll practice using primary and backup lights, communicating with light signals, maintaining buddy contact, staying oriented, and planning entries, exits, and routes with changing conditions in mind. The goal is not simply to dive in the dark—it is to become more deliberate about how reduced light and visibility change the dive. This is an on-demand specialty course with two instructor-led open water training dives. Choose your preferred training timeframe during booking, and we’ll confirm the final site, schedule, light requirements, and course details with you afterward. **Includes:** SDI eLearning, instructor-led planning, two open water training dives, certification processing, and digital certification card. **Prerequisite:** Open Water Scuba Diver certification or equivalent. **Student provides:** Appropriate primary and backup dive lights, personal scuba gear, dive-site entry fees, air fills, and any required exposure protection.
Upcoming Sessions
Cancellation Policy
You may reschedule your training session at no charge with at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled session may receive a refund, less any non-refundable eLearning, certification, or processing fees already issued on your behalf. Cancellations or reschedule requests made within 48 hours of the scheduled session may be subject to a $50 rescheduling fee. No-shows or same-day cancellations forfeit the course payment. We understand that emergencies happen. Contact us as soon as possible, and we will make reasonable efforts to work with you when circumstances are outside your control. Course Materials & eLearning Once SDI eLearning, certification materials, or digital certification processing have been issued, those costs are non-refundable. Students are responsible for completing assigned eLearning before the practical training session. Students who arrive without completing required coursework may need to reschedule and may be subject to the rescheduling policy. Prerequisites & Equipment Students must hold an Open Water Scuba Diver certification or equivalent before certification can be issued. Students should bring a nitrox-capable dive computer if they own one. We will teach you how to verify the gas mix, determine maximum operating depth, and program a nitrox-capable computer correctly. No pool session or open-water dives are required for this specialty. Certification Completion Certification is issued after the student completes all required eLearning, knowledge review, practical gas-analysis requirements, and instructor sign-off. Precision Depth Diving may delay or decline certification if course standards, prerequisites, or required performance objectives have not been met. In those situations, we will explain what remains to be completed and work with the student on a reasonable path forward. Weather and Instructor Changes Because this course does not require open-water diving, weather rarely affects scheduling. However, Precision Depth Diving may reschedule a session because of severe weather, instructor illness, facility issues, or other circumstances that make instruction impractical or unsafe. If Precision Depth Diving must cancel or reschedule, students may choose a new available date or receive a full refund for any unused course portion.
