Choose your schedule. Get back in the water.
Service Description
Get current and comfortable before your next dive with our Scuba Refresher Course in Jacksonville, FL. This personalized refresher is for certified divers who have been out of the water for a while, feel rusty with their equipment or skills, or want a guided review before an upcoming trip, spring dive, or return to regular diving. Your session is tailored to your experience level, time away from diving, and goals. We can review equipment setup, pre-dive checks, buoyancy, hand signals, regulator recovery, mask clearing, emergency procedures, buddy communication, and other core skills that make sense for you. This is an on-demand program scheduled around your availability. After booking, we’ll contact you to discuss your certification history, recent diving experience, equipment needs, and whether a pool session, open-water session, or both is the best fit. **Includes:** Instructor-led skills review, personalized coaching, refresher planning, and use of core rental scuba equipment as outlined for your session. **Prerequisite:** Open Water Scuba Diver certification or equivalent. **Student provides:** Personal mask, fins, snorkel, exposure protection, dive-site entry fees, air fills, and any other gear required for the planned session.

Cancellation Policy
You may reschedule your training session at no charge with at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled session may receive a refund, less any non-refundable eLearning, certification, or processing fees already issued on your behalf. Cancellations or reschedule requests made within 48 hours of the scheduled session may be subject to a $50 rescheduling fee. No-shows or same-day cancellations forfeit the course payment. We understand that emergencies happen. Contact us as soon as possible, and we will make reasonable efforts to work with you when circumstances are outside your control. Course Materials & eLearning Once SDI eLearning, certification materials, or digital certification processing have been issued, those costs are non-refundable. Students are responsible for completing assigned eLearning before the practical training session. Students who arrive without completing required coursework may need to reschedule and may be subject to the rescheduling policy. Prerequisites & Equipment Students must hold an Open Water Scuba Diver certification or equivalent before certification can be issued. Students should bring a nitrox-capable dive computer if they own one. We will teach you how to verify the gas mix, determine maximum operating depth, and program a nitrox-capable computer correctly. No pool session or open-water dives are required for this specialty. Certification Completion Certification is issued after the student completes all required eLearning, knowledge review, practical gas-analysis requirements, and instructor sign-off. Precision Depth Diving may delay or decline certification if course standards, prerequisites, or required performance objectives have not been met. In those situations, we will explain what remains to be completed and work with the student on a reasonable path forward. Weather and Instructor Changes Because this course does not require open-water diving, weather rarely affects scheduling. However, Precision Depth Diving may reschedule a session because of severe weather, instructor illness, facility issues, or other circumstances that make instruction impractical or unsafe. If Precision Depth Diving must cancel or reschedule, students may choose a new available date or receive a full refund for any unused course portion.
